Cindy Avila Garcia, LMFT
Cindy Avila Garcia is a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from East Carolina University and her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Appalachian State University.
Cindy brings both clinical expertise and a heartfelt presence to her work, creating a warm, safe, and judgment-free environment where clients feel genuinely seen, respected, and understood. She works with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma, and stress. Guided by a multicultural and person-centered approach, Cindy honors each client's unique background and recognizes the ways culture, family, and personal experiences shape the healing process.
Cindy believes deeply in the power of connection, compassion, and culturally responsive care. Approaching therapy with empathy, authenticity, and curiosity, she views therapy as a collaborative process, meeting clients where they are to help them identify and build on their strengths, develop resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. She empowers clients with the tools and insights needed to cultivate a more grounded, fulfilling life that aligns with their values and goals. Cindy provides therapy services in both English and Spanish.
